Loved Liz’s insights about parent-child conflict. Her stand for her self-worth and boundaries is courageous and inspiring. The hopeful news is life has many stages, and if desired, and if the parents live long enough, repair may happen at a different stage in life as it did for me in my relationship with a father who essentially abandoned his kids and later regretted it. Regardless of where the relationship with parents ends up, one may also find peace, as I did, by reaching a place of understanding and forgiving their parents’ flawed humanity. Thanks for another very meaningful podcast, Christine (and Liz).
This was such a great interview--thank you! So relatable.
There is so much good stuff here. Thank you so much!
